THE SHOES!

Last week I posted about some hot shoes I saw on the internets (see the post below this one). Saturday night I went out to the Rusty Spurs and there was a hot punk rock chick hanging out wearing VERY similar shoes!  I knew instantly that we were going to be friends.

I showed her the picture of the shoes I posted about and she said she actually used to have them, but they were very uncomfortable, and they tore up her feet. The shoes she had on were made by the same company and are super comfortable. She also told me that the same company makes a third version with a bigger, chunkier heal as well.

What a weird coincidence to be blogging about these shoes and then see someone wearing some just like them? I had to take a picture of her, then after I a few drinks I had to have my picture taken with her. You can click the pics to make them larger, but the resolution is horrible because they were taken with my phone and the flash on my phone is not that great.

I don’t know who makes these shoes, but they are hot.  If I was a chick, I’d wear them.

Chairs

Lately I’ve been a little obsessed with chairs.  I love furniture and I love colors.  A lot of people are afraid of color, but not me.  I’ve always embraced it and I love putting all kinds of color in my house.  That’s why I would LOVE to have one of these Queen of Love chairs. Having said how much I love color, I’m going to go against that and say that I really want the white chair… or maybe the blue. Although… the yellow would coordinate well in my house!

I’m not at all offended that the chair is called Queen of Love. I’m secure enough in my gayity/manliness that I could sit in this chair and feel like the Queen that I am. If I had roommates I would not let them sit in my throne. I would, however, boss them around from it.

No matter which color you pick, these chairs are awesome! You wouldn’t have to worry about anyone else having them. They are made of a hard material and they are actually not all that uncomfortable. I’ve seen them in person and sat in them. However, at about $700, I don’t think I’ll be getting one anytime soon. I do like gifts though… if any of you rich people are reading this and like to give gifts.

I got a catalog at work today and the picture on the cover was of this of outdoor furniture. How cute are these?
